He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sirmans of Washington and Eunie Whitley Sirmans Talley; and his siblings, Leon Sirmans, George Sirmans, Gene Sirmans and Wilmoth Sirmans.
He is survived by: his close friends, Glenn Taylor, Jim Hancock, Pete Hays and Burl Little; his wife Sue Talley Sirmans; his children, Walt (Diane Sirmans) of Simpsonville, SC and Leesa (Shane Coley) of Statham, GA; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Isabell Coley of Tioga, TX, Anna, Chris Oliver of Arnoldsville, GA, Matthew and Meredith Sirmans of Greensboro, NC; his sisters, Zelma Hargett of Tifton, GA, Zereta Alsobrook of Tifton, GA and Mary Kate Bruce of Rutledge, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Earl Branch and June Branch. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
