He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sumner Chappell of Chula; his daughter Belinda; his son-in-law Tom Coleman; his son Ferrell; his daughter-in-law Lindsey Chappell; his grandchildren, Melissa, Drew Kelley, Courtney Coleman (Bowen Lader), McKinley Chappell, Colby Chappell and Bryant Davis; his great grandchildren, Colton and Thomas Kelley; his siblings, Randall Chappell of Wrightsville, Georgia and Ellen Braswell of Valdosta; his nieces, Cynthia Coats, Beth Dasher, Becky Braswell and Kanawha Phillips; and his nephew Doug Chappell.
