He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Ann Ellis Chastain; his children, Carolyn Lea Loggins (Marty) of Chickamauga, GA and William Thomas "Billy" Chastain (Kathy) of Chickamauga, GA; his siblings, Blanch Devries, Sannie Chastain, Charles "T. C." Chastain (Emma) of Ringgold, GA and Melvin Chastain (Margaret) of Soddy Daisy, TN; and his grandchildren, Camilla Loggins, Jessie Loggins, Austin Chastain and Dylan Bates. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to one of Bill's favorite charities: The Salvation Army, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Chattanooga Food Bank.
