Sylvia Ann Smith left this world on February 9, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Sam Smith (Effie Ellis Smith) and Chickamauga; her husband Howard Baba Hill; and her sisters, Pauline Sherrill and Helen Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Monty Hill (Jane), Connie McDaniel (Jeff) and Tracy Woodard (Kent); her niece Susan Ellis; her grandchildren, Keith Richey, David McDaniel and Kelli Holland (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Madison, Claire, Audrey, Hannah, Abby and Preston; and her great great grandchild Hadley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Chickamauga Chapel (215 Lee Ave, Chickamauga, GA 30707). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
