He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Powell and Nevella Raines Powell; and his siblings, Janet Kay Aaron, Mickey Powell and Brennan Powell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Smith (Terry) of Soddy Daisy, TN and Donnie Powell (Linda) of East Brainerd, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Powell of Chickamauga, GA and Johnny Aaron of Rossville, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes - Fort Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30741). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park (724 Hogan Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
