He is survived by: his siblings, Junior, Brownie and Frankie; his children, Dr. Tony Hamilton and Dr. Freda Hamilton; and his grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Forrester (Steven), Dr. Tyler Hamilton (Emily) and Katherine Hamilton. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
