He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Harry Wallin and Thelma Mae Gann Wallin; his son Van Wallin; and his siblings, Cecil Wallin, Jack Wallin, Geneva Wallin Durham and Jane Wallin Ingle.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Wallin; his daughter Kim Gray (Jason); his stepchildren, Angel Ramsey (John) and Willie Dean (Ashley); his siblings, Willie Mae Smith (Lowery), Bob Wallin (Debbie) and Charles Wallin; his grandchildren, Branden Hennessee, Hillary Johns (Trevor), Chandler Hennessee and Savannah Tirado (Cesar); his stepgrandchildren, Brayden Justice, Abigail Dean, Anna Dean and Alysa Dean; and his former wife Sue Hughes Wallin. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Chickamauga Chapel (215 Lee Ave, Chickamauga, GA 30707). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at the Lakewood Memory Gardens South (325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Tapestry Hospice Ringgold, Georgia.
