Julia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bennett and Florence Bennett; her son Denny Chandler; her siblings, Don, Jim Bennett, Ethelda and Noema Bennett; and her cousin Janice Stueckrath.
She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Davis; her children, Dana Chandler, Shaina Gross (Tommy), Carissa Davis and Lori Davis; her grandchildren, Eve Scott, Jacob Chandler, Cora Gross, Emily Gross, Bryanna Cunningham, Caitlyn Cunningham, Equan Harris and Elora Gilbert; her nephew Don Bennett; her niece Tara Bennett; her sister-in-law Nancy Shelton; and her cousins, Ann Sweesy and Mary Dopf.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home and Crematory-South Crest (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at the Chickamauga City Cemetery.
