He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Lucille Saylor Green. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Green; his children, Jan Green Lindsey (Eddie) and Julie Elaine Green (Michael); his grandchildren, Christopher Edward Smith (Marybeth), Dr. Matthew G. Smith (Lilly) and Katie Elizabeth Lindsey (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Liz, Evie, Saylor, Peyton and Claire.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Food Pantry at Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church, PO Box 126, Chickamauga, GA 30707.
