She is survived by: her husband William "Thurman" Forsythe of Chickamauga, GA; her daughters, Gwendolyn Denise Parker (Randy) of Ringgold, GA and Rhonda Jean Shown (Arvil) of Chattanooga, TN; her siblings, Mildred Imogene Kirby of Tullahoma, TN, Gloria Sue Fulton of Soddy Daisy, TN, James Elvin Gass of Wildwood, GA and Dennis Levon Gass (Janice) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; her grandchildren, Anna Nicole Parker, Hunter Jade Shown (Megan) and Cherrish Denae Henderson (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Lowell Poteet, Jericho Samuel Jade Shown, Eliana Belle Shown and Emmett Cooper Franklin Shown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
