It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Wayne Christol of Chickamauga, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Green Christol and Mamie Lula Day Christol; his brothers, Johnny Christol (Ethelyn), James Christol (Leona), Harold Christol (Peggy) and H. Billy Christol; and his brother-in-law Reverend Doug Slater.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jerrolyn DeFoor Christol of Chickamauga, GA; his children, Reverend Billy Shane Christol (Joanie) of Ringgold, GA and Becky Renee Floyd (Jeffrey) of Newnan, GA; his siblings, Larry Christol (Virginia) and Linda Slater of Chickamauga, GA; his grandchildren, Reagan Frogge (Jacob), Bailey, Braxton Christol, Jackson, Lillian and Lindsey Floyd; and his great grandchild Eliza Grace Frogge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
