It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora McDaniel of Chickamauga, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Hubert Coffelt and Elizabeth Stanford Coffelt; her husband Joseph Warren McDaniel; her grandson Zachariah Martin; and her siblings, Jimmy Gilbert, Margaret Steelmon and Anna Lou Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, David Martin (Lynn) of Columbia, Gary Martin (Sheila) of East Ridge and Rusty Martin (Lynda) of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia; and her brother Pete Coffelt (Beverly) of Ocala, Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
