He was predeceased by: his father Charles J. Ekvall; his son Caden James; and his grandparents, Charles, Frances Addison, Leslie and Lula Ekvall.
He is survived by: his mother Lila Addison Ekvall; his wife LeAnn; his children, Madelyn (Wolfgang) and Sam; his sister Noelle Snodgrass (Gordon); his stepmother Teri Ekvall; and his stepsister Cher Smith (David). He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in- law, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel. A committal service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
