He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Rowland and Ora Mae Rowland (Cannon). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Davis Rowland; his children, Cynthia Rowland Carpenter (Phil) and William Cleveland Rowland, Jr. (Gail); his grandchildren, Will Rowland (Allison), Catelyn Carpenter (Brett Wright), Austin Rowland and Carolyn Carpenter; and his siblings, Walker "Walt" Rowland (Charlotte) and Sally Jewel Long. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
