He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Brown and Hettie Rowland Brown; his son Tommie R. McCoy; and his siblings, Melvin Brown, Harvey Brown and Helen Whitehead.
He is survived by: his son Tony McCoy (Renee) of Danville; and his sisters, Mae Roland of Eastman, Myrtle Jones of Eatonton, Evelyn Long of Jeffersonville and Hazel Brooks of Macon. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
