He was predeceased by: his parents, William Emory and Vera Roland Gilbert. He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Gilbert Collins; his brother Barney Gilbert; his close friend Christine Stone of Chester; his daughters, Dianne Rowland (Randy) of Chester and Brenda Sanders (Donald) of Cochran; his grandchildren, Whitney Sapp (Justin), Heath Rowland (Ambra), Tonya Harris, Chad Collins (Whitney) and Blake Collins (Kasey); his great grandchildren, Lane, Lyla, Cale, Callie, Harley, Slade, Gage, Ramsey, Cam, Willie and Lacey; his great great grandchild Julian; and his sisters, Judy Mullis of Rentz and Jan Brown (David) of Cochran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
