He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chastain and Grace Chastain; and his siblings, Hoyt, Gerald, Margaret, Juanita and Freida.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Chastain; his children, Michael, William Chastain and Brooke Ramos; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Eric, Nathaniel and Eli; his great grandchild Alexis; his brother Don; his sister-in-law Vickie Chastain; and his nephew Mark Chastain. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
