With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Janette Morgan of Chatsworth, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Wanda Janette departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wanda Janette may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wanda Janette leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton James Brownlee and Zora Thompson Cochran; her husband Charles "Bill" Morgan; and her daughter Tammy Wheat. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Nicholson of Chatsworth, GA, Randy (Megan Nicholson) and Crystal Ferrick of Chatsworth, GA; and her siblings, James (Ann Brownlee), Michael Cochran of Acworth, GA, Diane (Raymond Parker) and Mary (Roy Hunt). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ponders Funeral Home - Dalton (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
