It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Dayle Hughes of Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurdis Weaver and Ruby Weaver; her brothers, Bill Weaver and Eugene Weaver; and her husband Rickey E. Hughes.
She is survived by: her son Shawn; her daughter-in-law Stephne Hughes of Chatsworth; her siblings, Doyle (Brenda Weaver), Timmy (Gloria Weaver), Ricky Weaver of Calhoun, GA, Alfred (Nathalia Weaver), Bonnie Kelley of Chatsworth and Louise McGill of Chatsworth; her grandchildren, Evan Hughes (Emily Hughes) and Hanna Hughes (Daniel Diaz); and her great grandchild Easton Rickey Hughes.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705).
