Rowena Pittman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rowena Pittman of Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother I. A. Sanford; her husband Arnold Pittman (Sport); her siblings, Ina Hickey, Annie Lee Wilson, Thelma Wilson, Lorraine Davis and I. A. Sanford; and her son-in-law Michael Mathis (Mike).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Pittman and Brenda Pittman Mathis; her granddaughter Christy Sturgill; her great grandchildren, Presley Glover (Alex) and Kaylon Bennett (Aaron); her great great grandchildren, Maddox, Olivia Glover, Asher Welch and Creed Hawkins; and her sister Bettye Davis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Chatsworth or a charity of your choice.
