He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Adams and Lucille Adams; and his siblings, Durell Adams, Harold Dean Adams, Wynell Gustin and Dora Mae Tolbert.
He is survived by: his wife Harriett Payne Adams of Chatsworth; his son Andy; his daughter-in-law Lynn Adams of Comer, GA; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Jim Hines of Athens, GA; his siblings, Jerry Adams of Nicholson, GA and Sherry; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Black of Nicholson, GA and Larue Adams. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
