He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Pete" Young and Hugh Fox Young; his wife Edna Turner Young; and his siblings, Fannie Ingle, Dorothy Young, Jennie Carder, Walter Young, Charlie Young and Tommy Young.
He is survived by: his children, Tony, Laura Young, Adam and Teresa Sluder (Teica); his grandchildren, Justin Young, Janell Morisette, Travis Young, Ryan Young, Lynsey Young, Alison Young, Wyatt Erwin, Maisie Sluder and Myles Sluder; and his great grandchild Reverie Morisette. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Spring Place Baptist Church in Maynard's memory, 441 Highway 225 S, Chatsworth, GA 30705.
