He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Welch and Eula Mae Welch; his siblings, Ivey Lee Brock, Jimmy and Earnest Welch; and his great grandchild Gracie Lynn Nicole Welch.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Welch, Angie (Scott Dykes), Tina Arnold (Bobby Gallman) and Tony Cleary; his grandson Aaron Byers Nicholas (Bri); his great grandchildren, Angel, Rami, Christain, Jordon, Maddie, Jayce, Jocelyn, Nash, Memphis, Walker, Cole and Ryker; his brother Earl Welch; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Welch, Cathy, Teresa Brock, Mike Brock and Ricky Welch. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
