With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lonny Ray Jones of Chatsworth, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin Ray Jones; and his sisters, Diane Tallent and Beverly Fouts. He is survived by: his wife Donna Ellis Jones of Rossville, GA; his daughters, Nealey Faye Jackson of Rossville, GA, Cassie Marie Dillard of Rossville, GA and Miranda Kay Jones Coffey of Chatsworth; his mother Ruth Dill Jones of Chatsworth; his sisters, Nadine Foster of Chatsworth, Alicia Chitwood of Chatsworth and Celeste Dempsey of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Katrina Shipman, Ryaen Shipman, Zharia Printup, Abby Blevins, Ashlynne Randolph, Jordon Austin, Cami Austin and Jazmin Coffey; and his great grandchild Amari Goodner. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Peeples Funeral Home (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705).
