He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Keener; his son Dennis Howell; his parents, Roosevelt Keener and Beatrice Keener; and his siblings, Frank, Johnny Keener, Nancy Stafford and Eveline Mann.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy (Jim Schmeltz), Kenneth (Rena Keener) and Donald (Jada Howell). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Shawn Chaman Funeral Home (2362 US-76, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
