He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Jones and Troy Jones; his wife Nan Jones; and his siblings, Mitchell Jones, Nancy Babb and Dorothy Carr.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Jones, Butch and Charles Jones; his children, Beth Parker (Charles) and Benjamin Harold Jones; his grandchildren, Brianne Cherry (Josh), Jada Watson (Justin), Brett Parker (Kasey) and Ryan Parker; and his great great grandchildren, Cayden Cherry (Chloe), River Cherry, Jayden Watson, Jazlynn Watson, Aubrey Parker and Abby Parker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home (2362 US-76, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
