He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Herbert Alton Daniel (H. A.) and Lena Fannie Keith Daniel; his brothers, Jerry Reid Daniel, Mickey Van Daniel and Donald Hayes Daniel; his parents-in-law, Clarence O'Neal and Bunie Talley Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Roberta Dickinson Daniel, Joanne Gilreath Daniel and Marjorie Black Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Smith Daniel; his siblings, Arleigh Keith Daniel, Louneal Smith Burdett, Talitha Smith Pettepher (Richard Stanley Pettepher) and Roxanne Sullivan Daniel; his nephews, Michael D. (Mike), Daniel (Elyse), W. Craig Daniel (JoAnn), Patrick Daniel, Dee E. Burdette (Lori) and Dale J. Burdette (Theresa); his niece Latricia Poindexter (Tricia); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob Daniel (Kelly), Joshua Daniel (Delaney), Jared Daniel (Emma), Bo Burdett, Barrett Burdett, Jessie Huffman (Jacob) and Jolie Burdette.
