She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Henry Ramsey and Carrie Mae Moore Ramsey; her husband Willie Kemp, Sr.; and her children, Karen Kemp and Samuel L. Kemp.
She is survived by: her brother Ernest Levi Ramsey, Sr.; her children, Ernestine Sumlin (Donald) of Atlanta, Daniel Kemp of Chatsworth, James Kemp of Calhoun and Willie Beck (Stephanie) of Dalton, Georgia; and her sister Allie Roberta McClure (Jimmy) of Louisville, Kentucky. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
