With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Wright Collins of Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Collins; her parents, John Wright and Laurie Wright; her son Ray Collins; and her brother Linwood Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Collins and Jan Wilbanks (Bryan); her grandchildren, Kevin Collins and Kelly Watson (Chris); her great grandchildren, Hayden Hudson, Holcomb Collins, Camden and Channing Watson; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Collins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home (2362 US-76, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
