He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Callahan and Martha Callahan; and his siblings, Grady of Randall, V. C., Billy, Joe, Dixon Callahan, Faye Vaughn and Betty Lou Ware.
He is survived by: his wife June Callahan of Chatsworth; his daughter Pam; his son-in-law Fred Alexander of Chatsworth; his nephew Bruce (Samantha Callahan) of Chatsworth; his great-nephews, Ralph and Will Callahan; and his close friend Pat Callahan of Chatsworth. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
