He is survived by: his children, Jay Mitchum of Chatsworth, Melissa "Missy" (Chris Gentry) and Karen (Mark Holt); his grandchildren, Jacob, Kody Mitchum, Preston, Katie Bennett, Caitlin and Ryder Smith; and his great grandchildren, Weston Bennett, Eliza Bennett and Oaklynn Smith.
