We bid farewell to Joann Tweed of Chatsworth, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Silvers and Pauline Silvers; and her siblings, Sam, Johnny Silvers, Mary Lou Harrison, Hazel Brown, Katherine Sosebee and Judy Hall.
She is survived by: her sisters, Susie Ridley and Juanita Greene; her daughter Teresa; her son-in-law Kenny Noland; her son Kenneth; her daughter-in-law Kim Tweed; her grandchildren, Brian Terry, Amy, Andy Buckner, Jeremy Ryan, Cody and Audrey Tweed; her great grandchildren, Baili, Cody Slade, Beau Buckner, Leanne Ledford Alyssa, Wally Underwood, Chris, Alex, Theo, Rebecca Ryan, Korra, Norra, Leon and Branok Tweed; her great great grandchildren, Wrenlee Underwood, Peyton Slade, Fender Slade, Theo Slade, Kambria Buckner and Brantley Buckner; and her close friend Faye Hambright. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shawn Chapman Funeral Home (2362 US-76, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
