He is survived by: his wife Lucille Elrod of Chatsworth; his daughter Barbara; his children-in-law, Alvin Martin of Chatsworth and Marcella Elrod of Talking Rock; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Carolyn Elrod of Chatsworth; his sisters, Nina Long of Blairsville and Geneva Elrod of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Keith Elrod, Clay Elrod, Rhonda Newton, Candace Adams and Caleb Martin; and his great grandchildren, Eli Martin, Ellison Martin, Christian Adams, Isaac Adams, Anna Adams, Jonah Adams, Asher Adams, Courtney Pettit, Lauren Newton, Madelyn Elrod, Ally Elrod and Caylee Elrod.
