He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Brown, Sr. and Nellie B. Brown; his wife Betty Taylor Brown; and his siblings, Charlie Brown, Jr., Dennis Brown, Johnny Brown, Cleotis Brown and Geneva Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Anisha Brown of Chatsworth, Georgia and Aaron Brown (Michelle) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and his sisters-in-law, Grace Brown, Alice Faye Brown and Christine Taylor Bell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
