She was predeceased by: her husband James Thomas King Sr.; her son Steven McKinley King; her granddaughter Jessica Sue Jackson; her parents, Robert Newton and Bonnie West Chambers; and her sisters, Juanita Chambers and Robbie Jane Metz.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Jackson Varnell, JT Guinn and James T. King Jr. of Chatsworth, GA; her sisters, Bernita Taylor of Orange Park, FL and June (Tommy Hughes); and her grandchildren, James Wesley Jackson, Joshua Michael Varnell, Mason Henry Varnell, Chloe LaShea King and Sadee Marie King. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
