He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth "Tarver" Moore Sr. and Annie Lee Moore; and his son-in-law Marion Reed. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Dunn of Chatsworth; his son Jim; his daughter-in-law Araceli Dunn of Lawrenceville, GA; his daughters, Yvonne Reed of Chatsworth and Yvette Dunn of Dalton; his brother Kenneth; his sister-in-law Ellen Moore of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Nikki Satterfield (Caleb), John Reed (Kensli), Ali Collins (Brett) and Adam Reed; his great grandchildren, Gabbie Collins, John Hunter, Drew, Jaxson, Lilly, Preston and Jagger Reed; his siblings-in-law, Thomas "Tommy" Kendrick Jr., Helen Strickland (Richard) and Karen Davenport (Junior); his caregivers, Nixton Darville, Annette Weaver and Pashen Love; and his pet Abby.
