He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ross and Rosa Ross; his brothers, C. A. Ross and Kenneth Ross; and his nephew Alan Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dunn Ross; his daughter Rhonda; his son-in-law Greg Holcomb of Dalton; his grandchildren, Brittany Holcomb Shelton of Chatsworth, Elizabeth Barwell (Ben) of West Midlands, England and Matthew Holcomb of Dalton; his great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Madison and Micah Phillips; his sister-in-law Nancy Dunn of Bovina, TX; and his brother James Etheridge.
