She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Jefferson and Pearl Mae Springfield Luffman; her husband J. W. Baggett; and her siblings, Thelma Luffman, Jean Meeks, Pauline Martin, Mary Ellen Johnson, Exie Burger, Floyd Lee Luffman, Earl Luffman and Ed Luffman.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Lynn Baggett), Anthony (Becky Baggett) and Greg (Sherry Baggett); her sister Bertha of Chatsworth, GA; her siblings-in-law, C. J. Walls of Chatsworth, GA and Geneva Kirby of Dalton, GA.; her grandchildren, Brooke, Randy Cross, Sheena Baggett, Haley Baggett, Shane Baggett and Derek Cowart; her great grandchildren, Chase, Chad, Braydon Baggett (Ellisa), Lukas, Brandolyn Alred, Darren Flood, Emaryn Wells, Dolly Cowart, Savannah McGill, Sheera McGill, Saberiel McGill, Emileigh Baggett and Mason Baggett; and her great great grandchild Hudson Baggett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ponders Funeral Home - Dalton (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
