He was predeceased by: his father Grady Hensley; his wife Joyce Silvers Hensley; and his brother Sherman Hensley. He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Maddux (David); his grandchildren, Brynn Sims (Stuart), Lauren Bice (Jason), Rebekah Maddux, Layla Amann (CJ) and Jeremiah Maddux (Serena); and his siblings, Geneva Davis, Herman Hensley (Jill) and Clay Hensley (Lottie). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
