He was predeceased by: his wife Macie Darnell; his daughter Peggy Melton; and his siblings, Herschel, Howard, Eugene, Franklin Darnell, Sue Pollard, Lenora Green and Faye Patterson.
He is survived by: his brother Billy; and his sister-in-law Teresa Darnell of Dalton, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peeples Funeral Home (208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 30705). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
