She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Richard and Mary Nell Griggs Chadwick; her daughter Shelly King; and her siblings, Mary Evelyn Curtis and Charles "Pete" Chadwick.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell Gibson; her daughter Kara; her son-in-law Wesley Currin of Dalton, GA; her sisters, Diane (Glenn Flood) and Caren (Ralph Brooks); her grandchildren, Austin Mitchell, Bailey King, Allison Currin, Andrew Currin and Mason King; and her great grandchildren, Cayden, Skyler, Madilyn and Parker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
