With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dawn Michele Hammontree (Chatsworth, Georgia), who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joe, Dorothy Harris, Harlan and Deca Smith; her nephew Joshua Allen Hiott; her aunt Elinor Gillian; her uncles, Kenneth Harris, Dewey Cavender and Ray Miolen; her cousin Greg Harris; and her fiancé Louise Sanford.
She is survived by: her fiancé Scott Sanford of Chatsworth; her sons, Austin Malijan of Dalton and Joseph Malijan of Las Vegas, NV; her parents, David Smith and Margaret Smith of Chatsworth; her siblings, Lisa Acree of Chatsworth, David Lee Smith of Chatsworth and Dale Landen of Chatsworth; and her fiancé David Powell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.
