He is survived by: his father Bobby Lee Welch of Chatsworth, GA; his sister Starr Elaine; his brother-in-law Gerald Marshal Deal of Chatsworth, GA; his niece Stacey Deal Pendergrass (Wayne); and his nephews, Jacob Deal and Johnny Deal (Amber).
Along with flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
