He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Brewster and Adell Brewster; his former wife Mary Brewster; and his siblings, Lloyd, Floyd Brewster, Norma Jean Lawson, Nina June Carroll, Jessie May Lawson, Anna Lou Posey, Reda Pearl Brewster, Nena Lee Brewster and Phyllis Linda Brewster.
He is survived by: his son Charles S. Brewster Jr. of Chatsworth; his daughter-in-law Summer Hamed-Brewster of Houston, TX; his daughters, Charlott Brewster of Chatsworth and Rhonda Brewster of Chatsworth; his sisters, Shirley Day of Chatsworth and Sue Brewster of Oneida, TN; his grandchildren, Joshua, Joseph Atkins, Desiree Wynn, Jacob Hollingsworth and Gail Brewster; and his great grandchildren, Katy Holcomb, Lacey Atkins, Paisley Lankford, Isaiah Atkins, Eve Atkins, Lilith Atkins, Gabby Wynn, Ally Wynn and Mary Wynn.
