He was predeceased by: his parents, Osborne Edwards and Amanda Miller Edwards; his granddaughter Lillian Margaret Edwards; his siblings, Lois Hammontree, Paul and Hubert Edwards; and his son-in-law Claude Deyette.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Faith Edwards; his children, Vickie (Ed Downey), Hal Edwards of Atlanta, Carla Edwards Deyette of Atlanta, Jeff (Laura McCamy) and Chris (Kami Edwards); his grandchildren, Candace, Eric Hammons of Chatsworth, Addie Edwards of Ringgold, Elise, Emma Deyette of Atlanta, Christal McCamy of Jersey City, NJ, Chris McCamy (Cara Kinkler) and Kyle McCamy of Havelock, NC; and his great grandchildren, Haven, Ella and Rylen Hammons of Chatsworth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
