He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred "Tate" Smith Allen; his parents, Luther Allen and Willie "Wishon" Allen; and his sister Jean Allen Henson. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Linda Smith White (Jimmy) of Dalton and Glenda Smith Casteel (Alex) of Canton; and his sisters, Sue Allen Pinion of Dalton and Joyce Allen Tyre (Ronnie) of Kingsland. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
