She was predeceased by: her parents, Chandler Milton Caudell and Verna Mitchell Caudell; and her husband James E. Tate. She is survived by: her children, James M. Tate, Gene E. Tate (Deborah) and Carol Cravey; her grandchildren, Gil Cravey III (Kelly) and Ashley VanMeter (Wes); her great grandchildren, Emersyn Rae, Remi and Copeland; and her sister Patsy Spell. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
