He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Cates Spinks; and his parents, Hubert Spinks and Betty Pendley Spinks. He is survived by: his sisters, Diane Peppers (Victor Smith) and Gidget (Mike Duren); and his nephew Donnie Peppers.
