He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Ann Lewis (Shaffer) and John Terry Lewis; his wife Mary Maxine Lewis (Jackson); and his siblings, Dr. Thurman Lewis, Dr. George Lewis, Dr. Raymond Lewis, Rev. James Lewis, Guy Lewis, Florence Ella Boyd, Sarah Ann Holland and Vera Mae Lewis.
He is survived by: his sister Martha Lou Knudsen of Pontotoc, MS; and his children, Patricia Marie Hartzog (Delton) of Gadsden, AL, Linda Diane Allen (Grady) of Lilburn, GA, Randall George Lewis of Chamblee, GA and Scott Ledford Lewis (Maile Frank) of Lucedale, MS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
