With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Rogers Jones of Chamblee, Georgia, born in Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Pierce Rogers and Kate Hood Lunsford; her siblings, Opal Cash and Ernest Rogers (Pat); and her granddaughter Layla Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Christi; her granddaughters, Ashley, Katelyn and Danielle; her husband Leon Jones of Sugar Hill, GA; and her children, Lisa Rood (Mark) of Duluth, GA and Rev. Keith Jones (Christi) of Malaga. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
